Continuing with its series of articles on past SICCI-DBS award winners, the August 19 2010 Business Times, once again featured Harish Nim. The article highlighted his leadership, resilience, innovation and perseverance which stood out from the other nominees and won him the coveted award.

Giving a background of Emerio, BT talked about Harish’s visionary leadership and innovation, wherein he identified an opportunity for a service-oriented firm in an industry that was only product-oriented. Harish himself identified perseverance as a key trait to be a successful entrepreneur. He recalled his experience of selling Emerio’s services to a major European bank which told him that they already had a huge list of IT vendors. However, instead of letting that get him down, he got the bank to give Emerio a chance and by delivering on his promise, he made it into their top five vendor of choice (in his area of business) within two years.
